2017 Registration Information

THE 2017 SEMINAR REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

The NYC Seminar is open to all undergraduate students of the University of Texas at Austin. The Seminar can accommodate up to 120 participants, up 15 students per industry group, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Registration Fee

The NYC Seminar basic registration fee will be $515, based on quadruple occupancy, with a $45.00 early registration discount for students who register before February 17, 2017.  Below are your registration options (fees are on a per person basis):

  • Early Registration Quadruple Occupancy (4 people per hotel room - $470.00
  • Quadruple Occupancy (4 people per hotel room -$515.00
  • Double Occupancy (2 people per hotel room) - $725.00

Hotel rooms are equipped with two double beds. NYC Seminar organizers will assign individuals to rooms unless specific roommates are requested at the time of registration. We will do our best to honor roommate requests, but they are not guaranteed – no coed room requests, please. Double occupancy rooms are available only if requested by two people.

Payment Info

A $100 fee is a Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable program deposit due upon registration.  This $100 will be applied against the total cost of your Seminar registration fee.

All students must notify Texas Exes - New York Chapter  by February 17th if they decide not to attend the seminar, or they will be held responsible for full payment regardless of attendance. 

 Registrations received above attendance limits and/or received after February 17th will be wait–listed and accepted in the order they are received in accordance with seat availability.

Merit-Based and T-Shirt Design Seminar Grants

We will be offering two types of grants for NYC Seminar. Both applications are due by January 31st, 2017 toseminar@newyorktexasexes.org(link sends e-mail)

  • Several $250 Merit-Based grants based on a variety of factors including: academic excellence, volunteer experience and professional experience / internships.
  • One $250 grant for the student who submits the winning design for our NYC Seminar 2016 t-shirt design.
