When I first joined NYTE and volunteered at my fist Chili Cook-Off with over 1200 people in attendance; I was seriously questioning what I'd gotten myself into.
I love Austin, TX because: 
The people are friendly and the sun is always shining.
I went to UT because: 
It's UT.

A lion.
My favorite place in NYC: 
Wherever there's a good jazz band.

Went to Germany to spend time with family.

I was born and raised in Germany (I am half-german, but got to Texas as quickly as I could) and learned to speak Norwegian in Texas.
